| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 24, 2009 bottle - pours cloudy yellow, large white frothy-fizzy head with good lacing. Nose presents grapefruit and apple with a hint of doughy yeast, which carries over to the taste, lightly sour. sound67 (215), Offenbach, Germany
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 28, 2009 75cl bottle, as shown. Hazy, impenetrable pale yellow colour (blanche-r even than most wheat bears I know), big creamy head. Aroma of sweet bananas, but with a lemony yeast touch added. Bananas dominate the flavour, too, but they’re far less sweet than the aroma seemed to indicate. There’s even a whiff of perfume. Sour and slightly bitter finish, citric aftertaste. A lean wheat beer, less fruity than the German kind (Paulaner, Weihenstephan, you name ’em), and not as full-bodied. But a good wheat beer for warm weather, and it’ll grow on you as you keep drinking - which is what I’m doing right now. ;=) oh6gdx (9047), Vasa, Finland
