Pub (4103), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Dec 20, 2007 Bottled, filtered, 500ml. From Tesco, Banbury. Malty dry, good looking beer with a vague cereal aroma and some carbonation. Light, not particularly hoppy, crisp and biscuity with a sweetish background. its ok but perhaps too light. maeib (3997), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England May 4, 2008 Bottled. A golden orange coloured beer with a generous off-white head. Lovely aroma; typical of Williams. Good hops. Nice orange citrus fruits notes. Welcoming. The taste is hoppy too. Less citrus than expected, and even some nettle and hay. A slight cardboardy aftertaste, but it’s still nice. Magic_dave6 (3975), London, Greater London, England Jan 7, 2008 Bottle from father, which i assume came from tesco somewhere. Aroma is biscuoity and sweet pale malts, grassy bittering hops, hints of orange and spice. Taste is a similar bag of banter, quite sweet and o that side of balanced, decent hop character. I wonder if this is infact joker? leaparsons (3963), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Feb 24, 2008 Bottle. Golden brown with a small head. Aromas are sweet caramel and light pine. Flavours are caramel and toffee malts with sweet pine. Herbal with citrus notes.
