Interesting to compare it with the Meantime London Pale Ale. Very hoppy, bitter, a good IPA, but less American than the Meantime beer, despite the use of Cascade hops. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 15, 2009 500ml bottle. Pours an orange/amber with generous white head. Very hoppy aroma with the citrus notes of Cascade being prominent.and some sweet maltiness present which intrudes a little on the finish. Nicely balanced palate. This is a pretty decent beer but should lay off the sweetness a touch. johndoughty (2159), cheslyn hay, West Midlands, England

Orange appearance with a strong presence of hops. Medium body and and overall very refreshing beer. Also a proper IPA rather than a re badged bitter. evilsoc (191), Wales
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 11, 2008 Poured a pretty orange/amber. Hoppy aroma but I couldnt believe it was made with cascade and styrians hops after reading the bottle. Biscuit quality to the malt and a nice combination of leafy hops that was nice and dry but washed away fairly quickly. Nice overall flavour though. I’ll buy again. maeib (4745), Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 4, 2008 Bottled. A golden orange coloured beer with a generous off-white head. Lovely aroma; typical of Williams. Good hops. Nice orange citrus fruits notes. Welcoming. The taste is hoppy too. Less citrus than expected, and even some nettle and hay. A slight cardboardy aftertaste, but it’s still nice. scotty (835), Scotland
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 19, 2009 A crackin’ own label brew, good sweet malt with a better than average hop presence. This lingers on the finish. Perhaps not a classic IPA, but there’s nowt wrong with it! DruncanVeasey (2747), The Penguin’s Arms, Europe, Warwickshire, England
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 7, 2007 Reddish amber fizzing steadily. Wafts with all the leafy, faintly earthy, tangerine-accented hop goodness you’d expect. Promises of milk chocolate malty sweetness. Thick and glugging, with a creamily full body at the ABV. Rounded citrussy hops with a hint of bite. Finishes a little sweetly with a cereally/wheaty note, but still a tasty, pleasant-drinking IPA. hughie (3067), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 11, 2008 Gold with a white head. Spicy hop aroma. Fruity taste, sweet and refreshing, followed by a mid bitter finish. A good decision to get Williams to brew for the ’Finest’ range.
