Nice amber color with a good, good fine-bubbled head. Smelled fainlty of malt and oats. Cask had a mildly alkaloid taste to it, but a good overall brew.

Can. Sweetish, grainy aroma. Sweetish flavor, fizzy with some caramel. Slight bitter aftertaste. Drinkable, but not worth a retry.

Nothing really wrong with a pint of Tetleys. Smooth but I can sympathise with the "soapiness" mentioned before. A middle-of-the-road bitter. You can't go wrong with it if your choices are limited, but you'd be better off finding a good pub with better alternatives

Little soapy and vanilla aroma. Amber, white head, fair lace. Light bitter, bit malts, smooth, some vanilla in the flavor as well. Rather dry finish.

Typical widget beer, creamy head, flat body with little aroma or taste and is watery. Ice tea with a head.

Large tell-tale cream widget can head. Red in colour. Slighty hoppy but mainly rusty nose. The rust follows through to the taste, which is also a bit hoppy and very watery. Yet another can of widget piss.

Pretty standard bitter - the tea is nicer
