Canned. @ Lanzarote. The beer has quite a weak aroma and taste. Mainly floral hops. It looks okay, golden-copper coloured with some decent head. Watery overall. Could really use more taste, more malt, more everything.

MMMMM Lovely stuff. Great looker and suits my palate. Nice for a session. Just gets a wee bit cloying after half a dozen, but you soon get over it!!

Smoothflow can. Lightly roasted caramel aroma accompanied by floral hop. Amber color with a ferocious nitro head. Really creamy head. Near medium body with very mild nitrogenation. The flavor is slightly metallic; then caramel with balancing floral hop bitter. The finish is still slightly metallic, but it’s a soothing malt and hop reminder of Jolly Old.

Tetley’s Original - 500ml can. AMber gold colour, slightly murky; thin white head; toasted malt aroma; caramel malt flavours, with some hops to balance. Not bad for a macro canned bitter.

Decent Aroma, not real strong. Beautiful in the glass, as others said, a Pale Ale look with a thick nitrogen created head. I was supprosed at how hoppy this beer was. Highly hopped for an ordinary bitter. No real malt flavors evident, which directly leads to this beer being slightly to bitter on the finish. But the hops used are indeed wonderful spicey, floral, and a touch of wood flavors and light aroma. Kind of thin on the palate. Overall this would be a pretty good beer if there were a nice complex malt backbone to balance the bitterness. Drinkable but not gonna make it too the regular buy list! And yes, I know I have it rated a little too high, but I think it’s a decent representation of the ordinary bitter. Will trade lazy magnolia southern pecan bottles with others. email to set it up, mvktr2@comcast.net REVISION: I don’t smoke pot, but I must have been stoned to give this thing this high of a rating... have rerated closer to it’s deserved 2.

Pours brown with good sized head. Not too much aroma to speak of, other than skunk. Flavour was not too much better- skunky and lacking complexity or character. Quite dissapointing.

Can. Nice creamy microfoam head. Amber color. Aroma and taste are malt and hops. Bitter finish.

Canned 440ml. It pours a nut brown beer with a beautiful dense whitish head that doesn’t diminish at all. Lots of tiny bubbles rise from the bottom just after the beer has been poured. A beautiful bitter with an impressive lacing! Flowery aromas of caramel, peaches, honey, wild strawberries, nuts, hops of a good blend and quite a lot of vanilla. The nose indeed is just wonderfully fruity, flowery and rich with maybe just a slight staleness detectable. Up to this point this beer seems to be almost perfect! A very smooth mouthfeel follows, strong caramel flavours, some wood. The sweet elements in the taste are well balanced by the moderate bitterness. Extremly smooth. Unfortunately, this beer is quite watery. Some green apples in the finish. Despite this beer’s slightly flat taste it isn’t bad at all in my opinion. Nutty and fruity aftertaste. Extremly drinkable. I didn’t expect this bitter to be that good! (unfortunately a bit acidic). Slight vinegar touch. Otherwise very drinkable.
