Sweet, fruity and the low carbonation is great. I drink this right out of the fridge until it is warm, and it still is awesome. A local chain called The Office used to have this alongside Guiness on the nitro tap and I was there all the time drinking it until I fell off the barstool. I guess my patronage wasn’t enough because it only lasted a couple of months. I don’t remeber what they replaced it with, probably Michelob amber Bock, or some other "macro made to look micro" swill. So now the best I can do is buy it in the can. ralphdot (76), Billingham, Durham, England

Amber colour with a thin head (ceamflow had a good head), malt aroma, and dry bitter malt taste. I think this could possibly be the best "mass produced canned beer" in the world but it has to be this one, the original not the smooth but that’s only my opinion. shoestring (187), larkhall, Scotland

Nice for a session. Just gets a wee bit cloying after half a dozen, but you soon get over it!! fraternie (710), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Creamier than some of the other average cream ales (Caffrey’s, Ruddle’s) and terrific classic bitter ale flavor. Undergrad Boozers99 (40), England
