Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
"As a result of brewing this beer in Yorkshire Squares, it has a full-bodied roasted malt flavour with just a hint of caramel. Tetley's Cask also has a smooth hop character and bitterness derived from English hops."

Creamey nice beer that if your lucky theyll actually have on cask at the plough in alsager, but if not you have to have the tap crap. Nice tasting standard bitter.

[Cask at GBBF 2004] A dark orange beer with a huge beige head. The aroma is lovely fruity and hoppy. The flavor is very fruity with a dry hoppy end and a smooth mouthfeel.

Tetley’s is an average bitter, and dryer than many. Pleasant, drinkable and great in gradually loosening the social fabric, like any other respectable brew.

Cask Conditioned. Horrible bland, soapy bitter with absolutely nothing going for it. Awful - almost as bad as the keg.

Dec, 2002: Almost blandly smooth. This is a traditional Yorkshire Bitter. Up North they like their Bitter smooth and mild. This does have a soft fruitiness, with just a pinch of sour oak, and a restrained hop bitterness in the finish to mark it out as a cask ale, but otherwise is just too neutral to get excited about. [2.5]
April, 2004: The Rhydings, Swansea. A very good conversation lubricant. Not a beer to think about. [2.5]
June, 2005. The Cricketers, Scarborough. Sparkler. A steady enough if mostly bland session bitter. [2.6]

Cask at the Old Mitre in London. This pub was built in 1546, if I recall correctly. Nice atmosphere here even if it is tiny! Back to the beer! Amber body. Small fomay white head. Nose is mild hops, tea, caramel and faint sulphur notes. taste is bitter with mild hop notes and watered down caramel. Body has a medium feel to it with light carbonation. Finish is more hops and tea with faint caramel.

Smooth, hint of caramel, looks fantastic when settling. Very drinkable. Widely available in Yorkshire.
