| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Dec 27, 2007 Pour is frothy Guineese like head. Light malt and mold smell. It’s short on flavor, just a flat lite malt flavor. But it is very drinkable. In fact I drank two of them in the time it took to rate it. MBison (548), Southern Highlands, Australia
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Dec 21, 2007 Can (440ml) 3.6%. Poured a copper colour with light amber highlights, once the beer settled down I was left with a ultra dense, off-white whipped cream head which was fully lasting. Aroma was of mild hops and malts with hints of butterscotch and caramel. Taste was thin with a very mild bitterness, biscuity notes with light toffee and butterscotch in the back. Light bodied with a super smooth watery/thin texture and a very creamy mouthfeel, short finish. A perfect session beer if you want to down a lot fast. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 11, 2007 Contains a rocket widget, which in and of itself is usually pretty cool no matter how good the beer is. Thick head, almost comically so. Malty and smooth, easily drinkable, but sits pretty heavy. Caramel aftertaste. efrumtheidiot (190), Maryland, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 7, 2007 widget can. pours a sudsy amber with a dense thick white head. aroma is malty with some dust and a dab of pine. taste is pretty simple; malty and a faint touch of citrus with a soapy bitter finish. creamy! heavy body with dense bubbles. quite a bit of lacing. pretty straightforeward, not sure if the 4-pk was worth $7.49. i think it’s better than boddington’s. i’d reccommend it to a curious friend, but it’s not going to blow you away. i suppose this beer was what they had in mind when they said to ’settle their differences over a pint!’ TheDog (360), Aarhus, Denmark
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 4, 2007 Can. Found in Kvickly Åbyhøj for only 3,95 dkr!! Medium creamy whie head and coppergolden colour. Very smooth and easy to drink. Malty body with notes of caramel. A bit like Kilkenny and Caffreys Irish ale. igneous1 (1374), Davenport, Iowa, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 1, 2007 Mmmm...I drink this beer often and mostly like it as I’m bored to tears with the insane competition of brewers to "out-Northwestern hop" each other. Give it a rest and try to brew with some skill. Much crap can be masked with Northwestern hops. OK, I’ll get off my soapbox. This beer has some slight apple notes in the nose and moreso in the flavor. Smooth as hell and I’ll be the first to admit there’s not a great deal to the flavor. This review is basically worthless, but at least I got a chance to rant. clasley (153), Arkansas, USA
