Commercial Description:
Nitro Keg Ale and Canned Widget Ale. An export strength beer brewed specifically for countries outside the UK. It has the same smooth and creamy characteristics as Tetley's Smoothflow and incorporates a full drinking flavour. It is well balanced with a complex range of malty and hoppy notes, enhanced by a fruity aroma. Like Tetley's Smoothflow, it is served at 8°C to give extra refreshment.

On tap at the Republican. Pours light brown, with a white frothy head. Has a smooth, good taste of sweetness and a light hop taste. Not bad.

Widget can. Pours light amber with lots of head thanks to nitro widget. Takes a bit of time to settle down. Smooth and easy to drink. No significant after taste.

Can with widget. Pretty average, maybe a bit boring. Nothing particularly stood out, didn’t particularly like it, but it was decent.

Very little carbination (to be expected with an english ale). Looks like tea, golden amber color. Did not enjoy this beer.

Pour out of the can is a nice looking amber with a lasting head. Aroma is nothing. Flavor is a very small amount of hops but lots of mustyness helps this one out. Nothing great or worthy of lots of time. I hate wideget cans. 3.8% abv? Come on im a big boy...

On tap at the GLB. Very smooth and drinkable beer. Sort of boring, it’s got a little malt sweetness, not much of a hop profile (I think i’ve been desensitized to hops at this point though). Aroma is dingy hops and musty smelling. Overall refreshing, it’s not going to set the world on fire, but it’s not bad either.

M’è piaciuta mica niente, bevuta alla spina a Siena nello stesso posto in cui mi son sorbito la Celis White. Uno zuppone amarognolo quasi fastidioso che mi veniva voglia di lasciar lì.

meh, this isn’t anything great. I like the nitro touch, nice creamy head, but the nose is hoppy, but also slightly skunky, meh nothing special.
