Aroma is lightly fruity but thin. Body is also quite thin, even watery. Flavor is disappointingly lifeless. Nothing much is going on here at all. There is a mild bitterness but that is all. Some distant traces of malt appear. No carbonation in the mouth or in the glass finishes the lifelessness of this English Ale. A very disappointing drinking experience. davidpl (435), Santiago, Chile
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 24, 2007 Appearance: amber color, very uniform. The “widget” makes a very nice foam, the head is high and the long persistence.
Aroma: poor, something of yeast and fruit.
Flavor: medium bitter, something of persistence. High predominance of hop.
Palate: low to medium body and creamy texture.
Poor aroma and flavor, but your appearance is nice.

Poured from a widget can into a pint glass. Frothy at first but settling quickly to a light brownish-amber body with a small to moderate head that quickly dissipates. Very, very smooth but watery at the same time. Only taste I can really pick up is the faintest little bit of caramel. Texture is fine but just not enough flavor to garner a decent score. maniac (2628), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Amber smooth beer. Minimum aroma but rather enjoyable taste. Very light with moderate bitterness. REfreshing but rather boring. BREWMUSKCLES (1084), New Jersey, USA

Very metallic tasting at first but it grows on as you drink. Other reviewers notice a soapy taste that I agree with.
