| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 12, 2006 Can. Off-white nitro-head on top of a golden body. Caramel aroma and flavor with some sour notes in the aroma. Medium body. A bit boring but not bad at all. Just didn’t inspire me. (060819) noelcb (271), Toledo, Ohio, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 8, 2006 Can nearly exploded when opened. Luckily it was all gas. Poured in a swirling maelstrom of cloudy tan which resolved into a clear tobacco brown topped by a nice finger of white foam that laced nicely as I drained the glass. Not much aroma, mostly non-descript malt and herbal hops. Flavor was hoppy and herbal, with an undercurrent of malt and caramel. Definitively bltter. Mouthfeel was a bit thin and flat. | 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 2, 2006 Widget Can shared with Wild4Mild. Pours a light brown amber with a rippling of the just released carbonation until it settles into a thin white head which remains throughout the beer. Nose is apple juice. Mouthfeel is creamy, but flavors are thin. Slightly bitter, but hardly offensive. The best part of the beer was watching the pour, but with a very low alcohol it is definately a session brew. thornecb (1799), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 28, 2006 On tap. Poured into a shaker. Very nice micro head with staying power and lacing that coats the inside of the glass throughout the entire session. Mild malt aromas. Creamy with almost tea-like flavors from front to back and into a lasting finish. DarkStar22769 (100), Ontario, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 21, 2006 Draught pint at the Duke of Argyll. Poured as a caramel-bronze with a substantial creamy head. Aroma was mild and sweet, low on the hop. Flavour was simple and supported the aroma; hop bitterness was very mild toward the finish. The ale was very quenching and did not last long in the glass. Enjoyable. MrBunn (1543), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 17, 2006 Fabulous. My can says it has a widget in it... couldn’t find it which means it’s probably in my drink... Don’t know how I feel about that. When all the widget action dies down there is a nice amber colored body with a foamy one finger head. Aromas are sweet and appley with some caramel back notes and a little bit of a floral character. Other than all of that, it’s pretty plain. The flavor of it is watery but there is a nice creamy/silky feel to the foam. I just can’t get excited about anything here except the widget.
