pretty listless, with some very mild fruitiness, a touch of chalky bitterness, and that’s about it. Pretty lightweight. NJBeerman013 (786), Trenton, New Jersey, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 23, 2006 Nitro Can - Poured a nice golden amber. Fluffy, creamy head that lasted longer than the beer leaving nice lace. The aroma was nice but the flavor left something to be desired. The aroma was hoppy with grassy, earthy notes. But little to nothing was there in the flavor. turbo (1254), Arizona, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 5/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 14/20 | Feb 15, 2006 Can poured the color of honey with a thick creamy head thick lacing that hung in one big thick sheet on the inside of the glass.
Aroma is light and sweet.
Rich creamy sweet flavor but with a very watery body and rather dull finish.
Not very good. jde123 (715), Washington, Washington DC, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Feb 12, 2006 Quite the decent bitter. This would be great from the tap, but still provided a superior drinking experience from a nitro can. While being slightly dull in aroma and flavor, I especially enjoyed the rich body and appearance of this bitter. I would definately get this one again, if on sale. jhliesen (406), West Melbourne, Florida, USA

Anyway, Tetley’s is one of my favs. Nice foamy head that lasts along a medium amount of lacing. The taste and feel is creamy with a touch of caramel in the flavor. The finish goes quickly with a very slight appearance of hops. abc 6.29 Quevillon (1540), Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada

| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 2, 2006 Honey brown in color. The nose reminds me of rusted iron and creamy citrus. Palate: full nectar. Pours a rich sustained head that lingers to the last drop. Totally flat and creamy with hints of citrus rind, a tire iron steelyness, and a pronounced barnyard character. Bone dry w/ a slight bitter finish (peach pit). Overall...I got to tell ya, I just don’t appreciate English brews. I give it one BIG ...baugh ! GG (1678), NorCal, California, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Feb 2, 2006 This one did nothing for me. I found this beer to be alot like most English food, which is simply bland. No spark, no zip, no zing. Just lifeless. The aroma was average, with little malt trying to get out. Appearance was very nice, esp with the nitro blast and the cascading foam with the glass. Plus it was a beautiful maple color. As far as mouthfeel, it was like water in my mouth and while going down it had a tinny astringency to it. Flavor wasn’t anything special and had some malt but very minimal in hops. Just flat as it went down. So overall I’d have to say this wasn’t a very good brew. If it tasted as good as it looked then we might have something here, but alas it was not to be.
