The color is a creamy yellow amber, with a nitro cascade yellowish head.
The smell is buttery malty flavor. Not very strong.
The taste is a bit muted,a bit of a biscuit flavor with some slight hop bittereness.
This was one of the few nitro based beers that I have had and this was a bit more livelier than expected.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 24, 2009 16oz nitro-can served in an English pint glass. Crystal clear copper pour with a thin head of creamy off-white foam that lasted the entire glass. The aroma had muted caramel, dusty malt, and also a bit of toasted bread. Faint and dulled by the nitro. The flavor had sweet caramel and toffee followed by toast and some mild English hops. Slight metallic aftertaste. Not much to it. The mouthfeel was light-bodied and a touch creamy. Flat out boring...I wouldn’t even consider it a session beer because one was more than enough. jcwattsrugger (5374), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 17, 2009 Not dissimilar to Boddingtons. This poured from the widget can into a lovely dark amber colour with a fine creamy head which left a bit of nice lacing. Aroma was mostly that of malt, but not overly so. Taste was slightly malty, in a pleasant way. Kinz (2207), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 14, 2009 Sampled at JRHB club meeting. Somewhat shocked to fine that I didn’t have a rating of this yet. Medium amber, decent head. Aroma is lightly of caramel malts with faint, earthy English hops. Flavor matches. Not bad, just sort of there. I like a bit more bitter in my bitter. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA
