Commercial Description:
Nitro Keg Ale and Canned Widget Ale. An export strength beer brewed specifically for countries outside the UK. It has the same smooth and creamy characteristics as Tetley's Smoothflow and incorporates a full drinking flavour. It is well balanced with a complex range of malty and hoppy notes, enhanced by a fruity aroma. Like Tetley's Smoothflow, it is served at 8°C to give extra refreshment.

On tap. South Lyon hotel. Creamy, perfect looking head. Slight off taste at first. Very smooth, somewhat tasteless. Maybe a little honey as it warms. I can’t help it, I like the silky smooth but bland stuff.

Tap: ashleys ann arbor. Wonder why this beer rated so low. Very very smooth, almost like guiness, a little light on the flavor, some hoppy notes but well balanced. Some fruity notes with malty ending. Goes down way to easy.

can. Pours clear orange color with white creamy head. Aroma was faint slightly floral. Flavor was light, watered down. Boring. Texture was nice, thick and creamy.

Sweet malt aroma. Clear brown red colour with excellent head and lacing. Very malty flavour. Thick smooth palate.

From the can: poured an orange-copper colour with a medium tight white creamy head. Quite attractive but not much more to it. Aroma was faint biscuit and floral hop. Flavour was smooth and weak, creamy (more befitting a draft stout than an ale) Dry finish.

28 Aug 05 (Hunnshof) - Sweet fruity malt hop aroma. Clear orange-brown colour, with rock solid head and good sheet lacing, but looks a little too manufactured. Sweet light fruit malt and lightly hopped. Hoppy malt finish.

On Tap - Remarkably flat despite the huge amount of bubbles as it settled. Not much flavour to speak of, but nothing unpleasant - creamy and smooth is the best way to describe it. Went down remarkably easily, and before I knew it, I’d ordered another one. Ideal for the patio, but not for savouring.
