Not much of a taste to talk about, well an interesting taste that is. Has a smooth taste and a slightly bitter aftertaste. danid (3), Israel does not count | 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Sep 29, 2004 used to be one of my favorites .I grew up in Leeds where they brew it.As my palate develops I still enjoy it But I have to admit that there are better bitters mds (2112), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 21, 2004 500 ml "smoothflow" can. 3.8 ABV. Pours with the typical "puddin" head of the widget type beers which eventually settles to a small cap which goes the distance. Zero carbonation in the beer itself which to my tastes softens the beer excessively. Sweet start at first gulp gives way to a nice long lasting hop flavour with a hint of tea/tannin. I would like to try this on tap... pintbypint (1016), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada

Head is solid smooth white. Appears almost still, very low carbonation. Aroma of light mait. Very smooth mouthfeel, sweetish malt again, then ends mildly bitter. 3.8% abv MrManning (1655), London, Ontario, Canada

Body is dark amber colour that poured a thin beige head. Aroma was sort of sweet and malty, but faint. Taste is slight bitterness with some sweet aftertastes. No too impressive, but decent.
