| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 14, 2003 i am starting to become less and less interested in nitro beer. this is quite good, a bit thin and watery, which you expect from a nitro beer. usual flavours for a bitter. good for when you are bored of the macro lager at the pub. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 14, 2003 Draught, at the Black Friar, London. The first of many in a session with MRomero548, his lovely lady and SilkT. Tetley’s was just one of those beers that I had tried many years ago and hadn’t seen the need or desire to retry, that is of course until the need to ‘rate’ overwhelms you. Golden with a bright white, creamy head. The flavours are fairly neutral with just the slights sticky, honied finish on the palate. As a Tetley’s goes this was probably one of the best examples. Opening the can and a burst of foam shoots out... pours with a HUGE head which quickly dissipates. Very smooth mouthfeel. Creamy, and smooth. I caught a nice toffee aftertaste in addition to a few subtle floral notes. Not a bad beer at all. I will buy it again. Reid (1093), Salem, Oregon, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Nov 6, 2003 Live at Leeds! This smooth, creamy bitter reminds me of a pub (good thing!), especially when served at proper room temperature. Yellowish amber in color. Hint of orange-spice, a little woody(maple) and perhaps a hint of caramel. Not a bad beer, I just makes me wish I was in England when I was drinking it! krdktq (17), Pennsylvania, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 30, 2003 Nice looking amber/red color with cream colored head. Slightly fruity aroma with a bit of malt, but was not a full aroma by any means. Malty flavor with a touch of hops, but was lacking from nitro. Very smooth mouthfeel. A decent ale, inoffensive, but lacking.
