| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 7, 2003 Had this on tap and I was very surprised. A nice guiness like head and a sweet flowery/fruity aroma. What i liked about this beer is it tastes similar to tea with sugar, a sweet taste. That would be the reason to try this brew. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 3, 2003 I know this kind of beer doesn't usually score that well on this site, but I kind of liked this beer. Nice caramelly malt supports a nice little bite of hops that makes this quite quaffable. There's a bit of melon-like fruitiness that keeps things interesting. I'm not big on nitro dispensed beers, but you do have to admit that they make for gorgeous beers. The big soapy head on top of the copper body was quite the sight. roomtempbeer (185), Franklin, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Jul 30, 2003 From a can, beer pours (in Hoegaarden glass) a buttermilk-beige liquid slowly falling away to a medium brown-red-golden with off-white, not-so-thick, creamy head that lingers. Aroma is of straw, grass, vegetal. Flavor is of malt with small to medium bitter (closer to smaller) finish. Beer is not effervecent and consistency is like water. Excellent beer. Near best looking non-black beer. Sampled at 71 degrees Fahrenheit. Hildigöltur (5109), København, Denmark
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 27, 2003 From tap. Creamy smoothflow head. A very mild and quite boring beer. Mild and smooth maltiness and bitterness. krisbierjaeger (844), dolores, Colorado, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 20, 2003 Updated: Jul 24, 2003it's impressive to watch the foam machine do it's thing, like a theoretical mass of nebular gases coalescing into a radiant bronze star. actually, it's nothing like that at all, forget that. it's more like fake snow on a ski slope; but still very cool visually: that blizzard of micro-bubbles changes from a glass of solid foam to a creamy-capped tobacco-leaf burnt orange colored ale in just seconds. the nose is less flamboyant: some toasted caramel cookie malts with a slight facsimile of coconut and cedar. it's fairly tasty with it's nutty toffee sweetness nearly unhinged by a moderate metallic bitterness. amazing that so much creamy fluff would engender so little palpable carbonation. i mean it's so thick it doesn't even lace, but blankets the side of the glass with just a few eyelets like swiss cheese-- and yet, it's effectively flat. it suffers additionally from a very watery palate, AND the fact that were supposed to assume it's a pint can and it's not even 15 ounces-- don't THINK we didn't notice THAT carlsberg! jek803 (41), USA

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Jul 10, 2003 April 2001 - Fairly sweet. Wasn't one of my favorites.. Something odd about it... Perhaps I got a bad batch but I don't think so. It's a decent beer, just not quited tuned to my palate. It might grow on you though...
