Aroma of malt but not a whole lot else. Pretty smooth taste and quite drinkable but I would take a Boddington’s over this one if given a choice. It had a deep caramel color and a wonderful head with good lacing. I was anticipating an enjoyable pint, but behold! Someone stole the flavor. This was a near tasteless brew. I’ve seen several good reviews so I’ll write it off as a bad keg. alobar (1055), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 9, 2009 Reddish copper color with a tall white head. Decent lacing. Aroma of caramel, malts.... Watered down taste disappointed. Minimal flavor. Slight malt flavor, not bitter at all. Paul150 (37), , Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jan 6, 2009 Widget can pours with great cascading effect and a copper color. Aroma is faint but it is slightly malty. Taste is malty with slight bitterness and it is very easily drunk. Texture is nice due to the nitrogen widget. Great session beer. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 31, 2008 One of the easiest drinking beers I’ve ever tasted. Not a lot going on, but smooth and pretty tasty...it would be the perfect session beer if it wasn’t so expensive. Light copper color (or a dark yellow-orange), with a nice thick beige head from the nitrogen pack in the can. A slight buttery/diacetyl flavor, almost no hopps, and slight malt. rcasta (492), El Salvador

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 3/10 | 4/5 | 9/20 | Oct 25, 2008 Pours a coppery colour out of the can, starts out like guiness with a very active carbination moving and swirling around. Head is crazy dense and an off-white colour. Smells sour and metalic. Taste is quite bland as well, slightly sour, slightly bitter and slightly metalic. Mouthfeel is really smooth and creamy, that’s pleasant... Aroma and taste, not so much. More of a session beer than one to sit around and enjoy.
