May 11, 2004 Cloudy light brown color, short head. Aroma of sweet amber malts, some hops, some fruits (prune). Taste is light sweet, malty, hint of chocolate, bit bitter. Slightly sticky palate.

Apr 4, 2004 Bottled said Texels Fuurtoren Amber. Pours a foamy head on a hazy orange amber body. Hay and rotten fruit (!) aroma. Sweet and fusty flavor with cress tones. Not very good!

Mar 28, 2004 I shared this with Jacob Lövenlund - so my bottle also said Texels Fuurtoren Amber. It is a hazy amber beer with a white head. The aroma is of grass and hops. The flavor is malty with notes of gras and hops on a sweet background. The end is very dry hoppy with a light bitterness.

Mar 23, 2004 My bottle said Texels Vuurtoren Amber and had a different looking label, but it is probably the same beacuse of the lighthouse on the label pictured here. The beer is quite average. Sweet and malty.
