Aug 13, 2008 Bottle @ the brewery. Dark ruby brown beer, beige head. Aroma of raisin, caramel and liquorice. Flavour is sweet, roasted malts, some red fruits, brown sugar and an alcohol finish. Nice, but a bit too sweet.

Oct 30, 2007 Bottle. Liquorice aroma. Hazy dark brown colour. Big light brown head, quite stable. Roasted flavour, slightly sweet. Hint of chocolate and wine. Some pepper in good balance with a high maltiness. Very nice.

May 28, 2007 Hazy brown coloured, big brown head. Malts and some fruit, some vanilla. Sweet malty flavour, obvious alcohol. Might age well.

Jan 24, 2007 Pint Winterbierfestival 2007. Aroma of sweet toffee malts and oranges. Hazy, brown coloured with a thin, brown head. Taste is sweet, caramel and toffee malty, licorice, some orange and some butter. Well bodied beer.
