Bottle. A nice malty smell, light sweet, nice touch of bread. The head is white, medium large and creamy-milky with a rather short duration. The body is dark red. It tasted a little bit of wine, quite dry in the mouth. The body is creamy, then it gets fast drier, rather lively carbonation.

From tap@’t Arendsnest, Amsterdam. A brief offwhite head upon a hazy, orangey-amber body. Dry, light sourish malt aroma with fruit tones and a whiff of dust and earth. Taste is pleasantly fruity and has a sour-sweet malt body. Noticable earthy hop bitterness. Clean and crisp in the mouth. Mid-bodied. Malty and fruity ending.

(Draught at ’t Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 1 Aug 2009) Hazy yellowish brown colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with dried fruit (apricots) and some wheaty hints. Malty, fruity taste with notes of grain, dried apricots and hints fo orange. Low bitterness, medium body. A bit different, but a decent version of the style.

Bottle. Creamy, fruity aroma. Cloudy, dark copper colour. Small white head. Malty flavour with a little fruitiness. Yeasty aftertaste with a hint of iron. Low bitterness. Not spicy. High carbonation, but pleasant enough.

Gold-, ambercoloured. Creamy diminishinh head. Aromas of orange and especially apple. LIvely carbonation. Palate a bit flat, unfortunately. Malts and some hops in the finish. Average, not bad.

On tap at T’ Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 08-06-09 Pours hazy warm gold with a white head. Light wheatiness on the nose, its a little sweet for a wheat even with just 20% wheat as I was informed by the very informative and great barman, I didn’t find it as refreshing as expected, banana, fruits and spices show, its fine.
