I just chose the middle grades for all the 5 categories. I had it last night and liked it, but I didn’t make any notes. At least this way I know that I have already had this.

Bottled 330ml. -at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam. Cloudy orange/golden coloured, small to medium white head, mild spicy nose. Slight malty, mild spicy and surprisingly hoppy with notes of caramel and lemon. Notes of alcohol in the rather spicy finish.

Dark blonde colour, big creamy head, stays a while in the glass. Aroma is very herbal and spicey. When drinking a bitterness shows up, also spicey. Finish ais average, not sweet, but bitter in a harmonious way. Good tripel.

Birthday present a set of texels beer. Pours hazy yellow with a diminished white head. Yeasty and spiced aroma with a light hoppy note. Light spiced and caramelish dry malty. Shows a nice phenolic yeast note on the back of the nose and a dry spice note into the finish. Smooth, dry and nice.

300ml Bottle - Hazy amber with a small head. Hoppy and fruity aroma with hints of pineapple and apricot. Fruity taste with syrup, pineapple, apricot and a hoppy and fairly bitter finish.

Baeutiful beer, well carbonated with a foamy, persistent head. The colour is copper hayish. Typical Belgian triple smell: wholesome with lots of citrics and hints of soft sweetness. Salty. Bitter-sour with subtle sweetness. A general acid feel that balances the fruitiness and saltiness quite well. I would almost go for peaches and pears with the fruitiness, though it’s rather undefined. I like this triple! Especially the fact that the taste and smell reminds me of the sea and this beer is made at one of the Dutch islands :-)
