17 oz. Bottle from Mr. Liquor. Poured a weak brown with a weak head. Aromas were weak as well with some caramel and some alcohol. But the flavor came to the rescue. Flavors of caramel and spice. Some roastiness too. Pretty good for a bitter.

I wish I could find this one again, it was superb!!! Rich, sweet malts dominate throughout, deep butterscotch and dark caramel, hops secondary to big sweet malt profile, but pull the finish back towards balance, but still very sweet, moderately high alcohol; very warming, like a darker, less bitter version of Thomas Hardy barleywine
