I don’t think i will ever have an ESB better than fuller’s, but this aint half bad. Has a smooth palate and flavor. Has a sweet malty flavor but is really lacking in the bitterness. But, it goes down easy and aint half bad. If they added some more hops, it would probably balance out much better.

Pours a brownish color with a thick tan head. Aroma of fruits, caramel and malts. The flavor has a sweet taste, not as bitter as I would like. It’s an ok beer but a little too sweet for my liking.

Red body. off white head. Almost fruity nose. Caramel and fruits, hops mixed in for taste. Not bad.

Deep reddish brown with a tan head that slowly fades away. Sweet malty aroma with dark fruit, lots of cherry. Toffee and cherry/fruit flavors with a nice bitter hop finish. Very complex and very drinkable.

Pours an opaque dark reddish amber. Aroma is portlike; caramel, stewed fruit, and wood. Gentle and smooth on the palate, nice mouthfeel. Burnt toffee and cherry predominate the flavor at first. On the finish, more cherry with a slight woody hoppiness. Good balance between the hops and malt with a strong lean toward the hops. With the rating it has here I was expecting a lot less, wow.

It pours a dark caramel color and has little head to it. The taste is pretty much just slightly burnt caramel and not much else. It has a very thin mouthfeel, and nothing about it really stands out.I don’t dislike this beer per say, but if I had to sum it up in one word, it’d be apathy. The only reason you find it hard to dislike this beer is because it doesn’t present anything TO dislike. Were I given one I’d drink it, but this is definatly not making it onto my normal rotation. I give this beer a solid "meh".

Pours a dark amber color. Aromas of caramel malts, dark fruits, and a touch of spice. Flavors of caramel, plums?, with a sweet finish.

Dark color with a hint of red. Smooth and a bit sweet. Only available in a larger bottle (for me). Tastes like a good match for seafood.
