Was not impressed by this beer at all. A decent beer, i just have higher standards for esb.

My initial rating for this beer was horrible; not because it’s bad (not even close), but rather because it didn’t taste like as ESB. Then I realized that I was drunk, and re-rated it.

(Draught) Pours a copper body. Interesting flemish sour ale nose with some apples. Tart. Very apple flavour with some cherry undertones. Thin but I do like it.

Candy apples heartily sweetening the earthy notes...Sweet caramel joins the sugary orgy and buries the growing cherries...Quite promising but a tad sickening after a few sips...

It is dark red with no head. The smells were toffee, caramel and apple. The flavors did not live up to the initial decent smell. Later on the aroma becomes a dry port. Flavor was very dry with cheap grape wine and slight lime sourness. Not a smooth beer.

Cherrywood in colour with a nice head and sheets of lacing. Nose is malts and whiskey. Flavour is malty with some alcohol and prunes. Too sweet to be called an ESB, but a damn fine beer.

This one is just odd. Deep reddish brown. Aroma is strange - malt, prune, butter. Taster is malt, prunes, toffee with some fuggle hops. Alcohol becomes apparent towards the end. Palate is a little watery. huh?
