Aug 11, 2008 On tap at Oldsmar Tap House. This ESB surprised the heck out of me. It poured a reddish-brown with a great aroma of plum/ nectarine with lots of sugary red apple flavor and a managable degree of sour notes. Very surprising. Good beer.

Jul 27, 2008 Bottle from Sams in Chicago. Pours a red/brown body with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet fruits, caramel and some sourness. The taste is quite nice; a smooth full grape and berry flavor with some mild bitter hops, some toffee and a touch of bitterness in the finish. Quite good, full flavored.

Jul 14, 2008 Pours a decent brown color with not much head. Aroma is a little flat. Some malt, some fruit, nothing special. Flavor is more of the same. Malt, fruit, some hops, but overall just a little flat. Decent session beer, but even the ABV is a little high for that.

May 9, 2008 bottle. pours very dark for a bitter, a near brown amber with a thin off-white head. aroma of raisins, nuts, and sweet malts. flavor is very nutty with a bit of fruit. finishes fairly balanced, maybe a bit on the sweet side. even though the head pours thin, what is there stays around throughout the entire pint. a pretty good session ale.
