Poured a hazy copper color with a small corse off-white head. The aroma was doughy and yeasty. The flavor was malty of toffee with some hops and a tart finish. Not much bitterness on the end.

pours a cloudy dark reddish brown almost dark apple cider looking with a one finger tan head. aroma is of apples, toffee, and caramel. has a light body with some lacing and carbonation. flavor is apples, toffee, and caramel. has a small dry hoppy aftertaste and for my esb it is pretty descent. love the caramel apple flavor in this, it is a bit thin, but pretty descent. i also noticed a cinnamon aroma and flavor as well.

Almost no head. Caramel aroma with a hint of pear. Dark brown color. Not very sweet with a slightly bitter finish. This beer has abv 6%; However, the alcohol comes through too much against the flavor, in my opinion. Still, a very drinkable and enjoyable bitter ale.

This amber brew poured with a smallish head that dissipated rapidly. The smell is nice, fruity and malty and hoppy at the same time. Apples toffee and fuggles hops all at the same time. I like it. The taste is more of the same, apricots, caramel, and toffee melded in to the hop flavor. This is very good beer. Think I will have another.

Clear brown, with a modest, slow developing head. The aroma is peat and malt. Fairly heavy, with a heavy malt and alcohol flavor. Perhaps some toffee in the flavor as well.

Bottle pours copper with not much head. Aromas of caramel malts, some toffee, and light citrus hops. Flavor is mostly malts. Good caramel a touch of smoke some toffee notes. Light bitterness in the form of citrus hops at the finish. Smooth and easy drinking. Not much carbonation.

Chestnut body with red highlights, beige head leaves the scene quickly. Aroma is more malt than hops, but somewhat balanced - more malty than a typical ESB, I wonder if that is a trait of a typical ESB from Wales. Nose is composed of sweet malts, english hops, diacetyl(Fuggles hops?), apricots and almond. Medium bodied. Some smoke in the fore, appearing between notes of nuts, hops and a heavier malt profile. Not the typical ESB, but that’s what I enjoyed most about this one. Now, if only I could find more that was actually fresh, I do desire to drink this again.
