Tap at the brewpub.

Pour deep dark brown; light caramel appearance. Surprisingly sour, with belgian-yeasty notes before a strong hop bitterness (arugula, grapefruit pith) in the finish. Quite overbearing for the style; not enough substance here to justify it.

Clear reddish appearance. Mild malty aroma, slightly roasty. Very mild brown ale, notes of cocoa and hazelnut but in a light body. Slightly bitter in the finish.
