750mL bottle, no date from the brewery.Pours a murky brown with a small yellowish ring, small bubbles cascading to the surface. Lots of bourbon and sweet potatoes in the aroma with some caramel--wow this blends very well. Actually reminds me of sweet potatoes baked with marshmellows. Flavor has the sweet potatoes being a little less sweet, and the barrel a little stronger and drier. Semi-dry, minimal bitterness. Just a little spicy. Big full body with light carbonation. Very nice.

Bottle via a trade with kegbear, thanks Craig! Pours with a fading off-white head over a hazy amber body. Aroma has a ton of wood in it followed by spice and yams, with cinnamon sugar cookies. Taste is cinnamon, yam and a light tart note. Oak and lots of bourbon. Syrupy mouthfeel, and light bubbles.

Sweet sweet treat courtesy of TampaBrew. Pours amber with thin off white head. The aroma begins sweet and malty with notes of sort of vague syrup moving into maple syrup, broiled yams, mild winter spices and a modest amount of bourbon. Frikin’ smells great. The taste begins sweet, as expected, with malts, molasses and maple syrup. It quickly becomes very yamy with tasty tidbits of roasted to caramelized yams then oak and bourbon taking this to the finish. What a pleasing mix of notes here. I love the way I’m getting roasted to burnt yams that really create a great flavor.

Bottle. Unclear brown with a medium off white head. Sweet malty aroma with light notes of syrup, spice, pumpkin, vanilla and oak. Flavour is sweet malty, caramel, vanilla, oak and light spicy. Creamy texture. Way better than the non barreled version.

Bottle 75cl.
Unclear hazy medium amber color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, caramel, wood wood, alcohol - bourbon, light pumpkin beer as pumpkin, cinnamon, cardamom. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20091123]
