| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 28, 2009 Pours pitch black and completely opaqye without even the slightest bit of lighter colored edges when held tp a light source and a three finger frothy, soapy yellowish beige head. Decent retention, slowly fading into a lasting cap.
The aroma has the characteristics of a traditional wheat beer with a nice twist. Bready/yeasty notes with hints of corriander, citrus peel and ripe banana as well as some slight toasted malt, dark fruit and oatmeal.
Flavor is very similar to aroma. Medium bready, yeasty body with a very prominet citrus peel character. Hints of spicy pepper, lemon zest and corriander. Lemon and orange peel with a bit of clove and ripe banana acompanied by a slight toasty roasted malt, oatmeal and dark fruit flavor. Very well-balance and quite quaffable. Another interesting, unique beer from the brewery.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 15, 2009 Bottle. Aroma very intense with spices of all sorts, almost herbal, some smoke, as well as some light cookie malt and average yeastiness. Flavor of dark, lightly roasted malt meshing with the spices, though not nearly as intense as in the nose. Yeast continues to be present but not overbearing. Prickly carbonation was a massive distraction for much of the duration of consumption, only subsiding toward the very end and revealing more cookie and chocolate malt notes. Overall...I guess I just wish the biting carbonation hadn’t been there... oteyj (766), Canterbury, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 4, 2009 Dark brown pour with a small off white head. Aroma is of oats, floral spice, oats caramel and toast. Flavor contains a surprising roasted barley note with some smokiness and further oat notes. Medium body with a dryish finish typical of wheat malt. Very interesting and unique. elihapa (1052), Honolulu, California, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 4, 2009 On tap at brewery. Hard to know what to say about this one. Almost like a schwarzbier crossed with a Belgian White. Chocolate malt and soft roasts come through, along with typical Belgian white spices (coriander, etc). Mouthfeel is light, clean, and slightly dry. An interesting offering overall. afireinside96 (836), Mountville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 13/20 | Mar 11, 2009 750ml bottle shared by BeerGestapo. Thanks Mike. Started foaming over as soon as the cap was cracked. Dark brown pour topped by a massive but quickly diminishing head. Coriander and earth on the nose. The flavor reminded me a lot of a farmers market, fresh produce, meaty, slightly musty. Very nice mouthfeel, carbonation has a nice zing to it. Not what I was expecting but different and pleasant. satan165 (581), River Grove, Illinois, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 17, 2009 Bitch is delicious but I can’t tell you why. Definitely smells and tastes like birthday cake. A Belgian birthday cake? Sugary and moist? I’m confused because I like it and I hade dessert. Hell, about as original as it gets. It’s a little yeasty and sour once it warms up, but the initial hit was badass. Never tasted anything like this brew. It’s retarded and awesome. I wanna blow a candle out on top of it.
