| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 24, 2009 Bottle. Pours a deep very hazy brown color with a minimal foamy head. Flavor is dark wheat/rye, light sour essence typical of wheat beers, noticeable flower essence that adds a nice complexity along with a hint of citrus peel. Medium bodied and fizzy. Well done, this is a nice surprise. Tripplebrew (502), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 24, 2009 Pours a fairly opaque nutty brown with thick tan head. Aroma is very earthy, can almost smell the carbonation in an odd way. Some definite notes of grass/hay and roasted tones. Flavor is very mild, some alcohol comes across with light roasted flavors and zesty citrus. Body is very billowy, full of air. Very effervescent. CamdenD (625), Madrid, Spain
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Dec 23, 2009 This beer is probably better than it should be due to the additives that I normally don’t enjoy that much, but done in a nicely-restrained, truly Belgian, style this beer works extremely well. The crispness as well as fullness of the aftertaste is the killer point for this beer. Not necessarily worth the price-tag, but wow would this make a hell of a session ale on tap... doboy (206), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Dec 23, 2009 shared with DrBayern, Celticbrew, Uncle Steve and Brian the Beer Pimp. Nice floral aroma. Pours black with a thin lacy head on edge. The taste was a toasty choco malt with some hints of the corrieander and citrus. Found it somewhat thin tasting for my liking. But overall I was pleased. biznizness (952), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Dec 22, 2009 Um, not bad, but I was expecting more after hearing so much about this brewer. Maybe the others will be better. This was overcarbonated at first due to the bottle conditioning, but a lot of that came out. Huge head as a result. Flavor was OK but lacking. Would pass on this one next time. tripelthreat (84), Soquel, California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 20, 2009 Bottle into tulip. Huge beige head tops a deep dark brown body as the remainder of the bottle continues to creep out of the top. Nose has some roasted notes, apples, spice and initially very wheaty Flavor is roasted grain, a little tart dark fruit, and spice. Foamy and sharp carbonation mutes some of the flavor. Decently drying finish. Okay. Bragesnak (2354), Aarhus, Denmark
