Sweet tart doughy yeasty aroma with apples, lemon rhubarb pie, mild celery. Mild to medium tart flavors of granny smith apples, lightly sweetened earthy rhubarb, cream of wheat cereal grains; love that grainy malt grist. Light and easy drinking. It pours a hazy dull yellow with a moderate fizzy head that fades to a thin ring around the edges of the glass. The flavor starts with some mild yeast and citrus notes. The finish turns to a moderate lemony tartness. Very refreshing and drinkable. Light bodied with carbonation that started out rather lively and somewhat fizzy, but became much more mild midway through the bottle. kiefdog (1629), Tampa, Florida, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Nov 5, 2009 Rating from the bottle, though I’ve had it on tap previously. Pours straw yellow with fizzy but quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is slightly stinky, with some lemons and wheat evident. Taste is lemony and grainy. Really tart on the finish and not too fizzy on the palate. Lingers well. I really love this beer...a wonderful rendition. I need to buy more of this stuff. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 5, 2009 Bottle from Dasilky1. Poured from a bottle covered in muck, presenting a most unusual lemonade yellow with a nose that drops two big ones, lemon and sun-bleached wheat- on the olfactory. I haven’t seen a head on a beer that big since this morning. Nice, white puffy cotton. Flavor really filters out the pollutants with a tart lemon juice begining and a Dom Perignon-esque finish that isn’t ashamed to told you where it came from. I love this mouthfeel, Larry; reminds me of the feeling of homemade lemonade in my mouth when I was a kid. And my dead brother. A beer that would go great with a steak sandwich and, a steak sandwich.
