| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 4, 2009 750ml bottle. Pours a hazy pale blond color, fairly carbonated though head retention is low. A small white ring does stick around for the duration though. Aroma is intense lemon rind and perhaps a slight funk. Slight white wine characteristics too, a little bit of rubber. Flavor is slightly tart, a little less than I would like actually. A little more malty and full bodied than I expected. No way is this beer full bodied but for the style I was expecting less. This is pretty good. I have had only a couple other examples of this style and a homebrew so I have little basis to compare but this is good enough. Slightly pricey to buy often but not bad. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 4, 2009 Bottle. Poured a very pale, hazy yellow color almost white with a thin white head. Nose is is somewhat malty with notes of wheat, corriander, funk, citrus, and lacto. Medium body with a prickly mouth feel. Flavor is lemon, wheat, slightly acidic with a mild lactic tartness throughout. Finishes crisp and tart. Overall pretty mild. BeerandBlues2 (3223), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Pours clear and sparkling light yellow with an average, frothy white head, somewhat diminishing with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (hay, straw, meal), light hop (grass), average yeast (earth) with notes of wine. Light bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a sour finish. Average duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and sourness. doubleo (1121), San Diego, California, USA
