May 26, 2008 Cloudy yellow. Big flowery, coriandery, malty aroma. Hugely, assertively peppery with a big whack of coriander. Lacks all semblance of subtlety. Big dry finish. A distinctive wit.

Aug 7, 2008 From tap at Stone Bistro. Pours a pale yellow and with no head. Spiced and slight wheaty aroma. Spiced and mild phenolic flavour mixed with a light hops note. Mild caramel too into the finish.

Aug 9, 2008 (BCTC, 750ml bottle, thanks dickinsonbeer) Gusher, white head, murky apple juice body. Aroma is medium sweet, flower/lavender, light horseblanket. Taste is medium sweet, herb, some flower/melon. Light-medium body, light effervescence.

Jul 27, 2008 Bottle... Cloudy light golden ale with a huge, fluffy, white head. Excellent retention. Fruity, breadsy, floral aroma with a hint of vanilla. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with fizzy carbonation. Well-balanced. Herbal, breadsy and citrusy with touches of lavender, vanilla and coriander. Mellow, mildly bitter finish. One of the better wits I’ve tasted to date. Nice first impression from this upstart brewery!

Aug 5, 2008 Sample from a 750ml bottle. Huge overflowing pour leaves a tall white head on top of a cloudy yellow colored body. Considerably sweet flavor of juniper berries (gross), twigs, and soap... very dry texture, dried coriander, stale even, with some lemon notes thrown in for fun. Fairly simple and approaching bland territory, but decent enough and inoffensive.
