| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Aug 1, 2009 Death Metal Sour Fest. Bottle, from random liquor store in Poway. Very nice fruity aroma. Almost like Juicy fruit gum. Nice hazy, yeasty golden color. Flavor was fruity, yet spicy and had a nice bitter hop finish. I have had some real duds from the Bruery, but this is fantastic. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 28, 2009 Courtesy of sebletitje. Pours gold with a bit of haze and nice fluffy white head to go along with lingering clingy lacing. The aroma is punchy with mild tart notes moving into some sour and some vague fruitiness in the background. The taste is much the same with mild tartness then sour berry fruitiness. It ends dry and refreshing with lingering floral and spice hops, yeasty spice, tart berry skin and fading sourness. dkachur (2402), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 27, 2009 I wanted to pick out a festive beer for today, my Daily Devotee Day, and I settled on this one. 750 mL bottle from Whole Foods Market, Bowery, NYC. Spring 2009, I’m assuming. Pours a slightly hazy peach-amber color with a large frothy head. Decent head retention and lacing. Lots of visible carbonation. Aroma has a nice level of rustic brett notes that leave a very mild earthy funkiness along with notes of bread, cinnamon, spice, pineapple and stone fruits. Taste is peach, pear, pineapple, bread, peppery spice notes and mild bretty funkiness. Very light on the palate. Full bodied. This one is very, very nice. eaglefan538 (2385), Wilmington, Delaware, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jul 27, 2009 Bottle from SL. Nice score for those guys, glad it made it East. The pour was golden to straw, hazy, nice white head, big enough to get the bottle into the glass in less than three pours. The aroma was wheat, pepper, light yeast. The flavor followed, the spicing almost seemed to have some cloves in there too, but the pepper zing was quite nice, slight on the flavor, good zing factor, though. Light fruits, Mouthfeel was moderate to full for the style, nice carbonation in the mix. Very well done, smooth drinker. Bov (5478), Bienne, Switzerland

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 22, 2009 From stefanje via trade. The pour was cloudy and gold with a robust white to off-white head that collapsed slowly. The aroma is earthy with brett coming through. Light spice and caramel come out to give it balance as it opens up. The flavor is a nice blend of light funk, yeast, earth and some sweetness. I was hoping for a bit more in the hop department as I feel it would have given the beer more personality. Nice mouthfeel.
