| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 22, 2009 From stefanje via trade. The pour was cloudy and gold with a robust white to off-white head that collapsed slowly. The aroma is earthy with brett coming through. Light spice and caramel come out to give it balance as it opens up. The flavor is a nice blend of light funk, yeast, earth and some sweetness. I was hoping for a bit more in the hop department as I feel it would have given the beer more personality. Nice mouthfeel. drfabulous (1283), Columbia, Missouri, USA

Complex citrus and peppery pineapple aromas ride waves of bretty funk and honeyed pear. Rustic fruitiness and peppery hop notes round with a dry candy sweetness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, bittersweet finish. This is a great thirst quenching summer brew… TampaBrew (901), Tampa, Florida, USA
