Lovely peppery and fruity saison yeast aroma. Dry, phenolic and spiced flavoured. Very smooth and with elegant notes of flowers and fruits yet bone dry. Dry, peppery and hoppy bitter finish. fredandboboflo (1417), East Setauket, New York, USA

Aroma bretty with coconut and pineapple, some bready notes, maybe more in the area of graham cracker, some yellow fruits, some spice that seemed more like hop spice to me than anything, some plastic as well. Flavor again pretty big on light bretty notes and light bready/biscuit notes, with a spicy/herbal character that is almost hot at times. I found the beer to also be increasingly astringent, ultimately resulting with a finish that was most notably astringent and little else. Started out pretty good, but then kept finding stuff not so good about it. Somewhere in between. LilBeerDoctor (1530), East Setauket, New York, USA

Had this a few times before- and now the brett is starting to kick in a bit more. Pours a nice hazy blond with good high carbonation and a nice massive which sticky cloud like head- good lace. Aroma is more bretty now than when it first came to NY- a bit soapy lemon, and light horsey funk, has that strange brett plasticy spicy and horsey phenolic as well- slight salt, leather, good orange citrus and earth. Flavor is instant citrus, orangey - almsot theriez like- farmhousey then if left to linger on the tongue a sharp and prickly earthy phenolic spice comes in. Orange, light solvent cleaner, soapy, lemon peel, and very light on the brett funk in the flavor- more in the aroma for sure. Finish is relatively dry with a touch of malt for the brett to continually feed on. Great lightly bretty saison! emacgee (1892), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

Pours a glowing yellow orange with a two finger billowy offwhite head. The nose is spicy, bretty, citrus zest, mild orange character, white pepper. The flavor is mildly spicy, nice brett character, nice dry hop presence, yeasty, orange zest. Nice flavor and aroma. Softly carbonated palate with a good spicy character. Tasty! Bottle: The aroma is grassy, citrus, and yeast. It pours a cloudy golden-orange with a small soapy white head that leaves behind sporadic lacing behind. The flavor starts lightly yeasty and turns to moderate citrus with some light lemon. The finish has just a hint of orange peal, spice, and grass. Light-medium bodied with lively, but not prickly, carbonation. GreatLibations (1447), Last Supper, Arizona, USA
| 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 7, 2009 Pours like liquid gold w/ a tall lasting head. Smells wonderful like sweet cream and lemon rind. Medium nectar w/ superb carbonation. This has a defined Belgian IPA style bittering component that cleans and refreshes the palate effortlessly. Lemon rind, mild spice, tropical nectar, funk. The finish is bittered well w/ peach pit strength. It’s only mildy "wild". alagnak (359), Littleton, Colorado, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 6, 2009 Lots of fruits and spice on the nose, just a little sour. Tastes, well, kind of muddled, one swallow was spicy/sour/herbaceous with that great saison dry bitter finish - the next sip was a coriander bomb. It was good, but defintely was expecting more.
