The aroma was caramel, pepper, yeast, fruity esters. The flavor was excellent bret notes in there for some light funk, strong pepper, strong rye notes, phenolic character, caramel, bitter touch of hops, citrus/orangey notes, other lighter fruits. Dang, this thing was excellent, flaw only being a tad on the too big of a malt base (surprised there was 8.5pct abv), but it was fairly well balanced with some hops, rye dryness, and bretty dryness. Ample carbonation, but nothing over the top. I want me some more. kopher (303), New York, USA

super yeasty aroma, backed up by citrus, figs, biscuit, and a bit of pine. bright but deep aroma, a hint of metal.
flavor is also complex, with a nice balance of alcohol, sour dark fruit and a sweet cookie-like flavor, with a bittersweet finish that’s just a bit flat.
sticky and somewhat overcarbonated.
overall this is very good, it’s sweet but refreshing. drfabulous (1244), Columbia, Missouri, USA

Pours an orange color with a big fluffy off-white head. Excellent head retention and blotchy lacing. The aroma shows the brett with herbs, citrus notes, flowers, a nice scent. Flavor has more hops than expected, a lot of spices, with the citrusy fruits complimenting well. Dry finish. Overall a bit tart and sour. Solid. Thanks Ron! jeffc666 (1892), Fairfax, Virginia, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 28, 2009 Courtesy of sebletitje. Pours peach grapefruit in color with off white head. The aroma is powder sugar, some light colored fruit of peaches and pineapple and flowery floral notes. The taste is crisp citrus, peach, apricot pulsing with carbonation. It quickly gets very floral with flower pedals and floral hops. It ends with plenty of flower qualities, yeasty spices and mild fruit notes. ChristianScheffel (4529), Odense, Denmark
