The Crystal hops Contribute fruity, citrusy and piney notes up front followed by off the Chart bitterness and a warming finish ( 8.8% ABV). Growler thanks to bman1113vr. Pours a light amber with off-white head. Aroma of citrus, light caramel, some hoppiness. Flavor has a nice hoppy grapefruit citrus bite, faint caramel, nice bitter. Mouth feel is medium body, medium carbonation. Overall, not bad at all, good stuff!

From a hand bottled bottle from bman1113vr. Hazy amber cotor with a short lived off-white head that left lots of attractive lace. The nose was surprisingly subdued but with a thick, syrupy hop resin nose with candied grapefruit and orange peel. This is a big, hoppy beer. Lots of candied grapefruit, manderin oranges, tangerine, peach and apricot notes with a long bitter grapefruit zest finish. Very nice beer.

Thanks Cletus for passing this one on for me to try! Poured a deeper amber color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of some earthiness, pine, citrus, and toasty. Tastes of oranges, caramel, lighter earthiness, and pine.
