From tronraner via trade. A dark copper color with a thin white to off-white head. Streaky lacing. The aroma was light citrusy hops over toasted caramel malts. Smelled fresh. The flavor was a bit of sweet juicy citrus with plenty of caramel malt. Thin but drinkable. Refreshing.

From a bottle poured amber with a fair amount of head. Nice toasted malty flavor with a lingering finish.

bronze colored with white head. moderate carbonation for the style. nose is somewhat bitter. flavor predominated by an English-hop bitterness followed by only mild hop flavor and a bare trace of a malt undercurrent. the unpleasant bitterness becomes distracting as the drinking experience furthers, especially do the one dimension of the beer. very poor effort

12oz. Bottle: Aroma of malts, cocoa, light caramel, and slight nuts. Poured amber in color with a small tan head that lasted as a thin film on top of the beer. Clear. Not sparkling. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of malts, nuts, cocoa, light caramel, and some cola. Light to medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Cocoa, malt, and slight nut finish.

12 oz Bottle - Nice medium-dark amber color. Good caramel flavor that sticks around. Enjoyed. A pretty good bottle of beer.

A nice and impressive amber ale. Aroma was OK. Caramel and a hint of metal. Pour was a nice medium amber with a few little bubbles and a one finger off white head. Taste was nice and full. Caramel malt with not much else to balance it out. Medium carbonation and a sweet aftertaste. Ambers seem to be boring with them leaning to the hoppy side or malty side. This was definitely to the malty side but tasty enough to stand out.

One 5 oz sample of a 6 beer sampler at 3 son’s in Wexford, nice place. Poured from a 12 oz bottle. Supposidly by the owner. Looks like ginger ale. Smells like decently good beer, no bad olfactories. No head just a tea froth. Not real bitter on the buds but does have a slight malt bitter impact. I found this beer rather easy to drink, without any rude attributes. Acceptable mild bitter finish. Bottle Pours a clear amber with an off white head. The head is foamy and last okay. It has a weak lacinig. Has a sweet aroma with hints of caramel. Has a decent catbonation. The flavor is okay but lacks some depth. It is as average as can be. Has a watery texture. The finish is a little on the weaker side. Has a light body. The finish is not real impressive. This is not awful but its the type of beer I would recommend to my macro friends to get them started in good beer.
