Bottle purchased in a NC Total Wine. Amber color(shocker) with a small white he head. Aroma is malty with notes of honey and caramel. Flavor is yeasty, malty, honey and a very slight hop presence. Not bad. Not amazing.

12oz bottle courtesy of onenote81. Pours a clear dark amber color with a thin white head. Aroma is sweet and slightly malty with notes of honey, caramel, light floral hops, some slight spice. Flavor is slightly sweet and slightly malty with notes of honey, grass, bread, yeast, and some spice. Generally light body with a slightly malty and floral hop finish.

Draught. Pours a clear, dark amber with a one-finger white head. Nose is fruity esters, sweet malt, with a bit of a toasty, bready quality. Taste is sweet caramel malt with a bit of a toasty aspect, and lots of fruity esters, paired with a slightly hoppy presence underneath towards the finish that lends a bit of a dry, fruity finish. Decent session beer, but nothing to rave about - could certainly use some polishing.

Bottle--Good beer but a little disappointing coming from Duck-Rabbit. Nice head on a medium amber color beer. Lacing lasted throughout most of the drink Aroma was malty with some citrus hoppy undertones. Standard amber taste of malt with a slight bitter finish. Bruisin ales.

Bottle. Poured a clear amber with a two finger tan head. Aroma of caramel malt. Flavor is caramel, toffee, and a bready note. A slight hop finish is present as well. Good beer.

Bottle. Pours a nice amber (surprise!) that is slightly cloudy with a medium, beige head. Lacing is decent. Nose is caramel and malt. Taste is roasted malt, caramel, toffee, and has a yeasty bread taste in there too. Ends sort of sour. Hops are present and make a nice balancing act, but this is by far the most mediocre of the DR Series. Ummm, maybe this one should be cut from the lineup seeing that every other beer from this brewery is superb.

bottle. copper in color with small white head... some caramel and light hops in the aroma... solid hop bitterness presence over the palate for an amber ale... nothing overpowering, but it gave the body some depth ... other ambers tend to lose their body and feel a bit watery... this one held its strength and delivered some nice flavor as well. some roasted malts and more caramel round it out with a slight bitter finish. nice session beer.

I just could not work up any enthusiasm for this. Sort of hoppy, sort of sweet, sort of citrus finish, sort of average more or less everywhere.
