Commercial Description:
An American brown ale brewed with loads of hops from start to finish (it’s hoppy and beautifully bitter). Amarillo hops in the boil provide a spicy citrusy bitterness. Saaz dry hops in the fermentor provide a refined flowery aroma. These hops are supported by a grain bill of seven varieties of malt.

Pours a clear brown color with a huge tan head. Aroma was of soap and caramel. Aroma of caramel, chocolate and grass. Pretty bland overall; but fairly bitter for the style.

So I must have had a bad bottle, man crazy head. Off carbonation for sure. Aroma sour and some bad bitterness. Taste bitter and not so much of a Brown to me. No nuts or what I want from a brown, wierd brew, will try again soon.

This finishes off all the Duck Rabbit beers for me. I’ve had them all, now they need to brew something different. Pours a clear copper amber, with a medium, off white head. Smells of profound hops, with just a touch of some roast in there. Very light malts seem to be just right. The taste is decently hoppy with some malts to back it up, especially in the finish. Pretty solid brown, although maybe a touch too light for this style. i would have liked a little more body to it.

Bottle courtesy of Turdfurgeson: Poured a clear deep brown color ale with a rather large foamy head with good retention. Aroma of deep caramel malt with some light molasses. Taste is also dominated by some sweet caramel malt as well as molasses with some light toffee notes. I also found it to be quite hoppy for the style but it still made enjoyable. Body is quite full with some good carbonation. Pretty good overall if maybe a tad too sweet for my liking.

Contents under pressure! Look out when you pop the cap on this one. You’ll need a 36oz. glass. Hopped up with a citrus flavor. Very bitter, a good bitter. A favorite of the style.

Thanks to TomDecapolis for this... Appears a semi-transparent mahogany with a frothy tan head that slowly fades into a thick head of foam. Scattered streaks of lacing are left around the glass. Smell is of sweet earth, floral notes, herbal tea, roasted nuts, and toffee-like grains. Taste is of the mentioned aromas with bitter yeast and floral hops coming through. Mouthfeel is bitter, yeasty, medium bodied, with roasty, and nutty grains lingering along the palate.
