Commercial Description:
An American brown ale brewed with loads of hops from start to finish (it’s hoppy and beautifully bitter). Amarillo hops in the boil provide a spicy citrusy bitterness. Saaz dry hops in the fermentor provide a refined flowery aroma. These hops are supported by a grain bill of seven varieties of malt.

Bottle from StFun, thanks josh! HUGE head took three minutes for it to dissapear... Almost over filled my snifter. Dark brown in color. Aroma of chocolate, cinnamon, nuts and brown sugar. Taste is watery cinnamon, brown nutmeg, Hint of chocolate and roasted malt. I dont know where the hops are???? Just ok... Thanks Josh for the brew and all the effort you put into hooking me up with an awesome package!!!

Courtesy elmatador. Pours a dark brownish red color with a huge, pillowy tan head that settles to a thick film. Huge chunks of lacing spread across the glass. The aroma is of sweet caramel malts, roasted nuts, and hops. The flavor shows the caramel sweetness and roasted nuts up front but are quickly washed out by the large amount of bitter hops. Medium bodied and a touch thin on the body and overly carbonated. The hops really show themselves with a long, bitter finish. Maybe a touch too bitter for me. Not a bad brown ale, but not my favorite.

Bottle. Huge amount of carbonation leads to huge craggy tan head with ridiculous lacing, sits atop a brown body. On the nose, a little roasty, caramel, and bitter hops. Not super sweet, quite hoppy with some toast and caramel, a touch of metal (?) in the aftertaste--that was a bit unpleasant. Really overcarbbed with a bitter end.

A light hop aroma. This beer is in fine shape. A bit of hops up front. A little bit tinny in the finish. And a bit thin, but okay.

A nice, hoppy brown ale. Very clean aroma. Spicy hops, chocolate and nutty notes. Very nice. Same in the flavor. Very balanced, clean and complex. Thanks Bleacherbum!

Ruby brown with an enormously frothy light brown head. Nice lacing. Very hoppy aroma with undertones of sweet malts. Same in the taste, by far the hoppiest of the browns that I have sampled. Sweet brown malts are dominated by floral/grassy hops. Finishes with a distinct bitterness.
