bottle. copper/amber in color with a small off white head. malty aroma with some toasty bread, caramel, and light earth. Taste is malty, with caramel, some very light spice, earth, and a mild bitterness. very clean- medium bodied...this is a pretty nice marzen.

Had this back at the Oktoberfest in CLT, but I’m rating it from a bottle now. A little bit sweet and heavy for me. Flavor was certainly there, but it was kind of stuffy, and didn’t have the smooth crispness that makes me love this style (formerly my arch nemesis style).

12 ounce bottle thanks to Brent. Pours a clear and bright ruby hue with a medium white head. The aroma is toasted caramel malts. The flavor is sweet bready caramel malts. Light hops. Smooth and easygoing. Enjoyable. Cool label.

This bottle has been in the fridge for at least three weeks, I just have not been too exited to try it. A märzen another style Im just not into. Bright Copper pour with a slight haze. Fizzy off white head, short lived. Toast, caramel, and fruit. Caramel, spice, toffee and a light hop presence. Decent beer for the style

12oz bottle. Purchased @ Brusin’ Ales.
Deep copper color. Medium tan colored (in the appearance of sea foam) head. Aroma has loads of toasted malt, a good bit of toffee, toasted bread, earth, and a touch of spice. Flavor is full bodied, rich malt. Smooth and mellow. Soft and creamy. Very nice Vienna Malt. A bit of biscuit in the finish along with a touch of spice and earthy hop. Perfectly balanced. I could drink this beer all Autumn long!

Pours a copper orange color with a decent off white head. Nose is heavy malt with a slight toffee sweetness. Flavor is caramel, some spice, bready with a nice mouth feel. Finishes clean with a pleasant after taste. Not a bad Marzen.

355mL. Pours a hazy amber with a thin white head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, maraschino cherries. Taste is biscuit, vienna malt, light caramel, but overall fairly watery. Also has a bit of a smoked taste and then turns a bit sour. Drinkable. A bit earthy. Meh- festbiers just aren’t my thing.
