The aroma is very light with hints of chocolate and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet with light notes of both roasted malt and chocolate, leading to an end with a dry chocolate note. The body is a bit thin inspite of the 5.7% ABV. Papsoe (15009), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Sweetish, lightly burned malt aroma. Medium body, roasted, lightly burned malt accents and then this hard to describe lacto edge. The finish is dry. 310507 omhper (12244), Stockholm, Sweden

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 20, 2006 Near black colour. Aroma is similar to Vietnamese coffee, but with a distinct nuttiness. Full body with a rich roasty character. This lends a fair bit of acrid bitterness that is offset by decadent lactose sweetness. Not entirely traditioanl given its strength (and accompanying relatively hefty body) but it is flavourful and showcases the key ingredients well. Cheers to Suttree for hooking me up with this! argo0 (6939), Washington DC, USA
