Good aroma of chocolate and roasted malt with a lactic presence. Very pleasant Lactic flavor with roasted malt and chocolate, it finishes with bitterness. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and gentle carbonation. It rocks my socks!!. nchokiemom (1), North Carolina, USA does not count | 4.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Jun 24, 2009 Good flavor full bodied! I was pleased to see that they are now carrying this at the local Harris Teater. This is the only brew I have tried from Duck-Rabbit so far, it won’t be the last. If you are into milk stouts you will love this one. RCWCPACFP (102), New Jersey, USA

The roasted sour traditional stout is not lost in the lactose and the sweetness makes it a perfect companion to an aged Irish cheddar cheese. Drink it slow over conversation with your kids... it will help you survive. Go Duck_Rabbit. risenc (2), Washington DC, USA does not count | 4.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | May 29, 2009 A truly delicious quaff, from start to finish. I found it less intensely coffee than other folks; I thought there was a nice sweetness that made it at times something like hot chocolate. This is a great beer for the whole family (adults, anyway) -- even my mother, who hates beer, drank this like water! oldrinkin (3), rocky point, North Carolina, USA does not count | 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 4/5 | 20/20 | Jan 20, 2008 For a stout, the milk stout hit the nail on the head....most def worthy of a near perfect rating.....cudos to the duckrabbitbrewery. oldpainless (35), fort mill, South Carolina, USA

It is so smooth & easy to drink, you almost dont know it is a stout. Must be the milk...
A good friend brought one to me. I expected little from it but O.M.G. , knowing that he had had several before, I nearly killed him to obtain his blood & stomach fluid so that I may have more MILK STOUT! crazyvin (1255), New York, USA

A real nice aroma with coffee cocca and sugary notes. Taste was initally sweet with a nice roasted mocha background a real creamy finish.
