Commercial Description:
Very dark in color. This robust porter features a pronounced flavor of roasted grains reminiscent of dark chocolate. Also, Paul and Brandon add oats to the grist to give a subtle round silkiness to the mouthfeel.

Thanks retorp for the share. Pours black with a tan head. Some dark fruit, coffee, and chocolate malt. Flavor is lots of roasted character with chocolate malt, and dry coffee bitterness. Lingering chocolate malt and coffee finish off the flavor of this fine brew.

12oz bottle from onenote81. Pours a dark brown to black with a massive foamy tan head that settles slowly slowly and heavily laces the glass. Aroma is sweet and creamy with notes of warm milk, roasted malt, dark chocolate, some tobacco, some slight phenol and whiskey notes. Flavor is sweet and roasty with notes of dark ripe fruits, coffee, toffee, smoke, wood, some coffee bitterness. Generally medium body with a bitter coffee finish.

12 oz bottle pours jet black with a small brown head that quickly fades to a ring. But that ring sticks around. Slightly sour, coffee, tobacco, grains, and bourbon. Quick bitterness/dryness with a medium body. Roasted grain and coffee dominate the body with a hint of vanilla and chocolate. Dry finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown-black, with a thin, fizzy tan head. Nose is roasty, a bit of acidity and coffee. Taste is quite roasty - dark roasted coffee and and some acidity, almost burnt, with a bit of a smokey presence way down underneath. Fairly dry finish. medium-light in body, finish is maybe a bit watery. Decent porter, but I prefer the milk stout.

12oz bottle. Very dark pour, black with a light brown head. Roasty smell. hints of coffee and dark chocolate. Deeply roasted grains and very nice bittering hops. Roasty flavor. medium bodied, perfect carbonation. A great everyday Porter.
