Commercial Description:
Very dark in color. This robust porter features a pronounced flavor of roasted grains reminiscent of dark chocolate. Also, Paul and Brandon add oats to the grist to give a subtle round silkiness to the mouthfeel.

Poured from a bottle as a very nice dark brown. Small light brown head. Nice aroma of chocolate. Flavor is wonderful. The chocolate really comes through in the taste along with roasted malt and a slight smokey taste to it.

Another fine product from Duck-Rabbit. If you like a good Porter then try this. Hard to find outside the Carolina area.

Nearly black colour. Rich aroma is chocolatey, fruity, vinous, molassesy. Flavour is gentler, softened by a brown sugar note, but maintains an enticing complexity of molasses, milk chocolate and light winey notes. Creamy, full mouthfeel. Sweet, complex finish. Bloody good - I’d put this up against anyone’s porter.

Just like the milk stout there is a bannana hint... ripe, ripe bannaa. Tasts a lot like the milk stout which is usually not a good thing but this is here because they are both winners.

Very close to English Style. It’s not a hopmonster and it doesn’t have to be. Well balanced and exceptionally quaffable. This brewery continues to produce good and consistent beers. If you can find it on draught take up residence there. I can’t wait for the Cap to be Popped in NC so these guys can show off their talent with high-gravity beer.

Excellent porter...flavor your typical caramel, but with a nice little kick of hops on the finish. Nearly black color with cola like head.
