Bottle. A black beer with a huge brown head. The aroma and taste is light roasted and of bread, chocolate, coffee and alcohol. Medium to full body with a light dry finish.

(Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of sk8viking. Pours black and opaque with a huge, light brown head. Fruity, raisiny aroma. Medium body only with burned malt accents. Some fruitiness before a heavy malt astringency in the finish. 171107

Pours full black with a mostly receding mocha head. Aroma of vinous roast, dark fruits, cherry, coffee. Taste is sweet roast, bitter chocolate, vinous fruits, cherry, toffee. Very nice sweet roast aftertaste. Mouthfeel is heavy with foamy carbonation.

12-oz bottle provided by jrob21. Pours opaque with a small, frothy, dark brown head, somewhat diminishing with fair lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, molasses, chocolate, roasted grain), heavy hops (flowers, perfume), average yeast (dough, leather) with notes of heavy alcohol, prune, cherry, port, and toffee. Full bodied, creamy texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, moderate acidity and bitterness.

Pours very thick and dark with a creamy dark colored head that sticks around for a good while. The aroma is rich and complex with notes of cafe au lait, burnt caramel, roasted woods, and dark chocolate. The flavor is a bit of a let down coming off of that nose. There are notes of astringent coffee, roasted malts, chickory, and chewy smokiness. Not very complex and not really that enjoyable. The finish is not pleseant either. This beer looks and smells great, but falls on its face after it passes your lips.

12 oz bottle. Very dark pour, aroma of malt, chocolate and oak. Flavor is bitter, dry, sour, harsh. Alcohol burn is constant and lingering. Really didn’t improve as it warmed. Not very good.

Bottle: Pours very dark with barely a hint of red highlight, brown 1 finger creamy head. Aroma is rich and roasty, chocolatey and fruity with a hint of acidicness. Flavor is very rich, very malty, dark chocolate, burnt wood, and the same fruity pebbles ish flavor i got from the Baltic Porter. This beer is also moderately bitter and has some alcohol warmth and some acidicness. Tastes amazing but this beer could give someone heartburn.
