Commercial Description:
Aptly named for the Paramount Center for the Arts in downtown Peekskill, our pale ale is crafted to be an accessible session beer. It has a medium body with a light floral nose and slightly hopped finish.

In short: A session Pale Ale with an interesting woody hops signature. Good beer.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear golden-copper topped by a small off-white head
In long: Foresty hops on the nose with coniferous trees, birch trees and more. Body is adequately malted with just enough toasted caramelized malts to provide a decent body without being heavy. Hops are very woody, again like the nose it is more than the typical coniferous/pine-tree flavours. Here the hops feel woody at large. Also a citric astringency. I thought that this was a pleasant sessionnable APA that gained a few points because of a hop signature that manages to avoid the same-old-same-old. This is a Paramount Pale Ale presentation, any similarity to actual beers, currently distributed or retired, is purely coincidental.

[2382-20090801] Sample. Mild pork strips aroma with wood and something off. Clear, amber body with a long-lasting foamy white head. Grainy bitter malt flavour has a mild fruit background. Medium body. Not great but drinkable.

on tap-pours a light tan head that laces and gold color. Aroma is mild light/medium malt, pine. Taste is pine/earthy hops, secondary light/medium malt-bready/caramel.

An amber ale with a thick off white head. Ina roma, classy caramel malt with nice hops. In mouth, a good crisp malt with British hops, classic and pleasant. Tap at BCTC 2009.

2009-08-01. Crisp dark amber body with a creamy beige head (3+) Interesting aroma, hoppy character is resiny with some earthy touches. (6+) Flavour is similar, mild resiny hops with green touches, mild malt base. (7+) Average palate. Nice, but the aroma less so than the flavour. A pleasant surprise nonetheless. On tap? at BCTC 2009

An opaque amber body with a beige, noticeable hoppiness--as one wqould expect--very crisp. Bit of a toasted flavor in the background.

On tap at the Peekskill Brewery. Pours an almost hazy amber with a medium sized tanned white head. Aromas of toast and malt. Body is medium, with a light malt sweetness, and more of the toasted malt from earlier. Finishes with a nice crisp bitterness. This paired up quite nicely with the fried jalapeno and pickles.
